Every person at Countryside who is 55 plus, growing in their relationship with Jesus Christ and engaged in His kingdom ministry.
Daily 10,000 people reach the age of 65. By 2030, one in five Americans will be over 65, by 2035 there will be more people over 65 than under the age of 18! The Baby boomer and older generations are to be mobilized for ministry! Rather than retirement, we seek to re-tool, re-invent, and re-imagine what God may have for us in this season of life as we are challenged to participate in minstries by, with, and for older adults.
Crescendo is not a program; it's a mindset. It's not an activity; it's an attitude. Each month Crescendo will offer opportunities for older adults to grow in all of these areas as they walk with Jesus and build His kingdom in this fruitful season of life.
Sundays in June starting June 9 at 9:45am. Help the Crescendo leadership team brainstorm. Take a survey, offer suggestions, talk with Crescendo leaders. Enjoy your coffee and cinnamon roll reserved just for you!
Enjoy a stroll with friends or alone on a self-guided prayer walk. Appreciate beauty, reflect on your week, or enjoy the outdoors. Debrief over a snack at "Want Bierocks and Coffee". RSVP to the church office. $8 admission plus food.
It may be hot enough to fry an egg on the sidewalk but we’re cool as a cucumber inside! Join us for great food, games, stunts, and a lot-a-bit of fun! Bring a dish to feed 12. Potluck A-K side or salad; L-Z main dish. Dessert is whatever calories you’re trying to clean out from your pantry.

Vacation Bible School is an opportunity for Crescendo to foster relationships with younger generations. We need all hands on deck! Help build our set, bake or serve snacks, help alongside a teacher, provide music, or hold the hand of a young child as they learn to love being at church among God's people. Be watching for sign ups! Say, "Yes!" to participating in this all church outreach to our community.
Whether recently widowed or experienced in the journey, find connection, empathy, and hope as you meet with other women in this season of life. We also sponsor outings on the third Saturday of the month. Contact Judy Blaine or Lynn Black through the church office for more information.
